Conditions: All flights are weather dependent and subject to the pilot’s final discretion. Maximum individual passenger and luggage weights apply. Prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST, EMC (Environmental Management Charges) and complimentary local ground transfers.
Marine Park permit conditions apply to all operators conducting activity within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. These commercial conditions are designed to minimise any impact from Tourism by managing the use of associated airspace, reefs and islands allocating minimum heights and distances to aircraft from sensitive areas and wildlife.
Conditions relating to Sand Cay’s specifically maintain that landings may only take place while the cay is vacant of other aircraft, boats or people. Essentially only one party is permitted to be on the sand cay at any one time. This ruling applies to all permits and does not allow private bookings or reservations.
In the highly unlikely event the sand cay is occupied upon arrival, Sandcay Upgrade guests will receive additional flying to land at an exclusive beach location for their meal (see Castaway). Sand Cay Experience guests will receive additional flying over the reef before returning to their point of departure and no refund applies.
Cancellation Policy: Flights cancelled by pilot due to weather will be re-scheduled or offer a 100% refund. A full refund applies for all reservations cancelled outside 48 hours of tour. Within 48 hours to 24 hours a 50% refund applies. If cancelled inside 24 hours no refund applies. Should a client advise a weight variance of more than 10%, the right is reserved to cancel and no refund will apply. All refunds must be issued at the point of sale.
