Skysafari specialises in aerial survey, aerial spotting and relief operations supporting local communities to the greater Cape York mining and exploration industry. Powerline and pipeline inspection, feral and diseased animal control, sling load operations and filming/photography are among our services. Skysafari have been operating in the far north for over 6 years and maintain a 100 percent accident free company and pilot history. Safety and Quality are paramount to the success of any operation. Highly experienced Skysafari pilots and ground staff undergo routine training in Threat and Error Management and are part of an internal Safety Management System that supports running risk assessments of every job to ascertain any danger areas that may go overlooked.

Our CASA approved Air Operators Certificate permits commercial charter and aerial work operations which are supported by appropriate insurances. We operate Australian registered Robinson 22, Robinson 44 and Bell 206 helicopters which are serviced through a routine Schedule of Maintenance.

Our Robinson 44’s are a modern, highly visual, comfortable helicopter and a smart choice for most applications. They produce the fastest air times ( cruising @ 110 kts / 203km/h) and offer superior cost efficiency to relative aircraft while statistically remaining the safest helicopter in the world today. These are a 3 seat + pilot configuration capable of safely carrying up to 300kg of additional payload, removal of all passenger exit doors and an average endurance of approximately 3 hours (incl. reserves).
